You can make a delicious baked chicken preparation in just 20 minutes. You need a single whole chicken, which should be about 2 or 3 pounds, some salt and pepper for taste and some paprika (1 teaspoon, or according to taste). You will also need some regular aluminum foil and paper towels.

Preparation

Take the aluminum foil and wad it tightly into small balls of about 3 or 4 inches. Then, place the balls in the slow cooker at the bottom. Take the chicken and rinse it out thoroughly, on the inside as well as the outside, under running water.
Then use the paper towels to pat the chicken dry. Use the salt, pepper and the paprika to season the chicken and then place the chicken on the aluminum balls that you placed earlier in the slow cooker.

Then, you need to set the slow cooker on high for an hour, the set it to low for anything from 8 – 10 hours. The chicken is cooked when the chicken changes color from pink and the juices start running clear.

Take out the chicken from the slow cooker, and you can serve immediately. This simple slow cooker recipe is good for 6 servings. The taste of the recipe is simply outstanding. The chicken becomes very tender, and paprika, salt and pepper make for nice counterpoints in taste.
