A slow cooker is something that will shave off hours of the time that you spend in the kitchen everyday. All you need to do is gather a few ingredients according to a slow cooker recipe and then mix them and place them in the slow cooker. The slow cooker does all the work for you; you don’t have to do anything! It also saves a lot of energy, so you will get some relief from high energy bills. To get you started, here is a recipe for a unique and mouthwatering concoction – a delicious Meatball and Cheese Soup that will do wonderfully for any meal.

Ingredients for Meatball and Cheese Soup

You need 2 cups of water, 2 cubes of beef bouillon, ½ a cup of sliced carrot, ½ a cup of chopped onion, 1 cup of whole kernel corn, 1 cup of chopped celery, 1 cup of chopped potato, 1 pound of ground beef, 1 big egg, 1 jar of Cheez whiz – (16 oz) meatballs, ¼ cup of bread crumbs, ½ a tablespoon of salt and ½ a tablespoon of Tabasco sauce.

Preparation

The preparation is very easy, and you won’t need too long to finish. Just mix all the ingredients together, but keep aside the jar of Cheez whiz for later. After the ingredients are mixed thoroughly, take the meats and roll them up into meatballs; medium size will work best.
Place the ingredients and the meatballs into the slow cooker. Cover and set the slow cooker on low setting. Then let it cook for about 9 hours or a little more. After that, take it out, and add the Cheez whiz to it. Stir until it is mixed thoroughly, and the dish is then ready to serve.

The Meatball and Cheese slow cooker recipe can serve up to 6 people. The slow cooker saves hours of your time. And the result is a flavorful, creamy and tasty restaurant like soup that is best served with some crusty bread.
